Jakarta, June 6 -- The Indonesian Ministry of Defense strengthened bilateral ties by enhancing military cooperation with Malaysia's Ministry of Defense.

The effort was marked by a meeting between Indonesian Deputy Defense Minister Donny Ermawan Taufanto and Deputy Secretary General (Policy) of Malaysia's Ministry of Defense H.E. Datuk Mohd Yani bin Daud at the Ministry of Defense office on Friday (June 5).

According to the ministry's press statement received here on Friday, the two officials also discussed plans for the upcoming ASEAN Defence Ministers' Meeting-Plus (ADMM-Plus).
