Indonesia allocates $6 mln for East Lombok school revitalization
Lombok Timur, May 17 -- The Indonesian government has allocated Rp105 billion (around US$6 million) for school revitalization in East Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, to improve education quality, Primary and Secondary Education Minister Abdul Mu'ti said.
"It is part of President Prabowo Subianto's priority program under the fourth Asta Cita mission, which focuses on developing excellent, healthy, and globally competitive human resources," Mu'ti said during the inauguration of an education revitalization program in East Lombok on Sunday.
He said his ministry allocated Rp527.6 billion in revitalization assistance for 531 schools in West Nusa Tenggara and East Nusa Tenggara in 2025.
