Bogor, July 27 -- The government is projecting transmigration regions across Indonesia to emerge as new economic growth epicenters supported by science and innovation within rural communities, Deputy Transmigration Minister Viva Yoga Mauladi said.

He made the statement while briefing academicians participating in the Patriot Expedition Team (TEP) program, which is intended to help regions harness their potential and develop featured products, aligning with President Prabowo Subianto's eight priorities, collectively called the Asta Cita.
