Indonesia advances integrated biofuel plant project in Lampung
Jakarta, June 10 -- The Indonesian Investment and Downstreaming Ministry has initiated efforts to accelerate the development of an integrated biofuel factory in Lampung under a broader push to strengthen national energy security.
Deputy Minister Todotua Pasaribu said the project focuses on bioethanol production, adopting a renewable energy model rooted in agriculture and locally sourced feedstock and materials.
He made the statement during a visit to Lampung on Tuesday, where he witnessed the signing of a joint declaration titled Collaboration in Establishing Bioethanol Ecosystem Development by the provincial government and several corporations.
