Jakarta, June 13 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that United States Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau visited Jakarta to deepen economic ties between the two countries.

Indonesian Deputy Foreign Minister Arif Havas Oegroseno received the US dignitary on Friday (June 12), according to ministry spokesperson Vahd Nabyl A. Mulachela.

"The two deputy foreign ministers discussed priority bilateral issues, including the digital economy, and explored ways to attract US investors to various sectors in Indonesia," Nabyl said in a written statement received on Saturday.
