Indonesia, Thailand can become global food security leaders: Kadin
Jakarta, Aug. 4 -- Indonesia's Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) voiced optimism that Indonesia and Thailand could emerge as global leaders in food security by jointly leveraging their natural and human resources, biodiversity, and agricultural strengths.
Speaking at the Indonesia-Thailand Business Forum in Jakarta on Tuesday, Kadin Chairman Anindya Bakrie emphasized that broad opportunities remain for the two countries to step up multifaceted cooperation while strengthening their global competitiveness.
He assessed that Indonesia and Thailand have opportunities to collaborate on the halal industry, clean energy, digital connectivity, manufacturing, and the digital economy.
