Jakarta, June 3 -- Indonesia, Egypt, Jordan, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkiye, and UAE strongly condemned ongoing attacks by extremist Israeli settlers on Al-Aqsa Mosque under Israeli protection, including the display of the Israeli flag within the mosque compound.

According to a statement issued by the Indonesian Foreign Ministry on its X account in Jakarta on Wednesday, the foreign ministers said the actions were unacceptable and violated international law, the longstanding status quo, and the legal framework governing holy sites in occupied East Jerusalem.
