Jakarta, April 14 -- Indonesian Creative Economy Minister Teuku Riefky Harsya held a bilateral meeting with Saudi Minister of Culture Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan Al Saud, to discuss the development of a culture- and innovation-based creative economy.

During the meeting in Jakarta, Tuesday, Harsya stated that Indonesia and Saudi Arabia share a long-standing relationship built not only on diplomatic ties, but also on strong spiritual values, shared history and people-to-people connections.

"The relationship between Indonesia and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia goes beyond formal diplomacy, rooted in spiritual values, shared history and a brotherhood that has endured across generations," the minister said in his statement.
