Jakarta, Oct. 7 -- The Indonesian and Norwegian governments have launched the fifth phase of the Community Fund Service scheme under Indonesia's FOLU Net Sink 2030 agenda to support community-based forest conservation and environmental sustainability efforts.

The funding scheme supports Indonesia's goal to ensure that carbon sequestration from the Forestry and Other Land Use (FOLU) sector exceeds or balances the emissions generated by the sector by 2030. Norway supports the initiative through a results-based contribution mechanism.
