Jakarta, July 26 -- Indonesian Foreign Minister Sugiono met with his Norwegian counterpart, Espen Barth Eide, in Manila to discuss strategic bilateral cooperation on environmental issues, marine aquaculture, and the energy transition.

The bilateral meeting took place on the sidelines of the ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting and Post-Ministerial Conferences (AMM/PMC) in Manila, the Philippines, on Thursday (July 23).

During the meeting, both ministers agreed to strengthen collaboration in the aquaculture sector, particularly through the adoption of sustainable fisheries technology and advanced management practices.
