Jakarta, March 30 -- The Indonesian and Japanese governments strengthened both countries' cooperation in the tourism sector, covering tourism promotion, tourism product development, and capacity building for tourism human resources.
This was marked by the signing of an agreement by the Indonesian Minister of Tourism, Widiyanti Putri Wardhana, and the Japanese Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport, and Tourism, Yasushi Kaneko, in Tokyo on Monday.
According to a press release of the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism, the agreement includes joint tourism promotion at international exhibitions, tourism product development, destination management, and efforts to strengthening sustainable tourism.
