Indonesia, India strengthen telecom cooperation on 6G, future tech
Jakarta, Sept. 15 -- Indonesia and India have agreed to strengthen cooperation in telecommunications technology and services, laying the groundwork for both countries to boost innovation and develop their future digital ecosystems.
The partnership follows up on the Joint Leaders' Statement issued during the Indian Prime Minister's visit to Indonesia, which was received by President Prabowo Subianto.
"Indonesia aims to ensure that digital transformation empowers its people to master, develop, and create future technologies. Cooperation with India serves as a strategic avenue to strengthen these capabilities," Minister of Communication and Digital Meutya Hafid said in a statement on Tuesday.
