Jakarta, Oct. 27 -- Indonesia and India have launched a creative technology corridor at the Singhasari Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in East Java to combine Indonesian cultural storytelling and intellectual property (IP) with India's audiovisual production capabilities and technology ecosystem.

Launched on Saturday (October 24), the initiative aims to develop local IP, expand the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and help Indonesian creative works reach international markets.

The partnership builds on commitments made during the World Conference on Creative Economy (WCCE) 2026.
