Jakarta, July 7 -- President Prabowo Subianto said that Indonesia and India had reaffirmed their shared commitment to strengthening bilateral relations through elevated cooperation across strategic sectors following high-level engagements in Jakarta.

He made the remarks in a joint statement on his talks with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Merdeka Palace on Monday, describing the bilateral forum as fruitful talks oriented toward boosting the Indonesia-India strategic partnership in pursuit of mutual interests.

"Prime Minister Modi and I have convened a forward-looking, intensive, and prolific meeting covering several strategic issues of mutual concern between the two countries," Prabowo stated alongside the Indian leader.
