Jakarta, Oct. 22 -- The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology is exploring opportunities to enhance collaboration with Germany across joint research funding, academic mobility, and capacity building for higher education institutions.

Higher Education, Science, and Technology Minister Brian Yuliarto stated that the potential partnership could create broader opportunities for Indonesian students and researchers to gain international academic experience while fostering research collaborations delivering meaningful impacts.

"We are considering the development of joint research. We could provide funding from the Indonesian side, with the German side also contributing funding," Yuliarto said in a statement on Thursday.
