Jakarta, June 15 -- President Prabowo Subianto agreed to strengthen labor partnerships in the high-technology sector and nursing field when receiving the visit of German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier at the Merdeka Palace here on Monday.

"In the health workforce sector, we highly appreciate the signing of the Letter of Intent on the Global Skills Partnership in nursing. Indonesia also wants to expand job opportunities for Indonesian workers in Germany, including in the high-tech sector," President Prabowo said in his remarks.

Besides the formal employment sector, the bilateral meeting between the two heads of state also brought fresh momentum for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the country.
