Indonesia, France secure US$3.5 billion in four commercial deals
Jakarta, May 30 -- Indonesia and France agreed on four commercial deals worth US$3.5 billion across energy security, trade, and defense cooperation, Indonesia's Investment and Downstreaming Minister Rosan Roeslani confirmed.
"The confidence of the French business community in Indonesia is on the rise. The agreements reached prove Indonesia is regarded as a strategic partner with prospects for long-term growth and a competitive investment climate," he said.
As quoted from the Presidential Secretariat release here on Saturday, Roeslani noted that the business pacts resulted from high-level engagements between President Prabowo Subianto and French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris on Thursday (May 28).
