Jakarta, Sept. 20 -- The Indonesian Ministry of Transportation is strengthening its civil aviation safety oversight through a technical partnership with the French Civil Aviation Authority (DGAC) to build a sustainable, international-standard monitoring system.

Director General of Civil Aviation Lukman F. Laisa stated that cooperation between Indonesia and France has been active since 2019 under a Technical Cooperation Agreement (TCA) covering inspector competency, standardization, and quality management.

"Entering 2026, this cooperation moves into a new phase focused on building a sustainable oversight system," Lukman said in a statement, Saturday.
