Beijing, March 29 -- Indonesian Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin invited the Chinese government to step up health cooperation, highlighting tuberculosis prevention, traditional medicines, and technology optimization for healthcare.

"China and Indonesia share many priorities in the health sector, particularly when it comes to transforming medical services and preventing diseases. To achieve shared goals, both countries can take notes from each other while pursuing mutually beneficial cooperation," he said.

Sadikin made the statement during a bilateral meeting with the Head of China's National Health Commission (NHC), Lei Haichao, in Beijing, China, on Friday (October 27), according to a statement received on Sunday.
