Indonesia, Belarus discuss stronger ties ahead of Lukashenko visit
Jakarta, May 17 -- Indonesian Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto met Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov in Minsk on May 15 to discuss strengthening cooperation ahead of President Alexander Lukashenko's planned visit to Indonesia in July 2026.
In a statement cited on Sunday, Hartarto said the Minsk forum finalized a measurable roadmap for collaboration across various fields.
These fields include trade, investment, humanitarian missions, social affairs, and culture.
He emphasized that the advanced meeting was crucial to ensure the forthcoming visit of Lukashenko would yield practice-oriented bilateral agreements.
