Immigration eases return of 9 Indonesians detained by Israel
Jakarta, May 25 -- The Directorate General of Immigration assisted in the repatriation of nine Indonesian volunteers from the Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) 2.0 who had been detained by Israeli authorities by providing a special immigration clearance lane.
Director General of Immigration Hendarsam Marantoko said on Monday that he personally monitored the immigration clearance process for the returning Indonesians at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Banten.
"Our focus at that time was to facilitate the immigration clearance process by providing a special lane," he stated.
