Penajam Paser Utara, Feb. 28 -- The Nusantara Capital City (IKN) Authority strives to strengthen local businesses to build an economic ecosystem in the IKN area, which is located across parts of North Penajam Paser and Kutai Kartanegara Districts, East Kalimantan.

"The Authority wants residents around the IKN to play a greater role," said Alimuddin, an official of the IKN Authority on Saturday, when asked about local community involvement in Sepaku, North Penajam Paser.

He added that one key initiative is strengthening local businesses by enhancing their skills and sustainably broadening market access, enabling communities around the IKN to take on a growing role in developing a dynamic, productive economic ecosystem.
