House speaker says 9,205 public submissions received, followed up
Jakarta, Sept. 1 -- The Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR) received 9,205 public submissions between Aug. 15, 2025, and Aug. 13, 2026, House Speaker Puan Maharani said, assuring citizens of appropriate follow-ups.
"The total number of submissions reaches 9,205, including 7,055 conveyed through letters, 2,011 through websites, and 139 through House organs," she remarked at the DPR Building in Jakarta on Tuesday.
Speaking during a plenary session, Puan described the submissions as evidence of the legislature's commitment to carrying out its oversight function during the 2025-2026 parliamentary year.
