Hikers advised to anticipate colder temperatures on Mount Rinjani
Indonesia, June 3 -- The Mount Rinjani National Park Office in West Nusa Tenggara has urged tourists and hikers to prepare for colder temperatures as dry season conditions increase risks during mountain activities.
"Tourists and hikers need to prepare carefully because current weather conditions feel colder," Mount Rinjani National Park Office Head Budy Kurniawan said in a statement on Wednesday.
He warned visitors not to be misled by sunny daytime conditions because temperatures can drop sharply after sunset.
"Safe hiking begins with proper preparation. Let's enjoy the beauty of Rinjani while continuing to prioritize safety," he said.
