Indonesia, Sept. 17 -- An Indonesian Air Force Hercules A-1340 aircraft delivered medical supplies and firefighting equipment to South Kalimantan on Thursday to support efforts to tackle forest and land fires.

"The supplies include seven oxygen cylinders from Unit Pazam 734 of HND Air Base, Satharpazam 73, Depohar 70, and Koharmatau, plus 500 packages of fire hoses from the Defense Ministry," Sjamsudin Noor Air Base Commander Col. Hilman L.P. Ambarita said in Banjarbaru.

Air base personnel immediately unloaded the supplies for preparation and distribution according to operational needs, supporting personnel involved in fighting the fires.
