Health Ministry proposes Bogor as integrated TB control model
Jakarta, July 29 -- The Ministry of Health has proposed Bogor City as a national pilot for an integrated tuberculosis (TB) control program after the city successfully established TB Alert Villages across all 68 urban villages.
Deputy Minister of Health Benjamin Paulus Octavianus expressed his appreciation at the launch of the Active Case Finding (AKF) TB program, integrated with the SMART Free Health Check (CKG) in Bogor City, West Java.
"I learned that all urban villages in Bogor City have become TB Alert Villages. This is extraordinary and I want Bogor City to become a national model," he said on Wednesday.
