Jakarta, Sept. 29 -- Indonesia is revising its national electricity master plan to accommodate a new target of 100 gigawatt-peak (GWp) in solar power capacity over two to three years, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto announced.

The proposed revision to the Electricity Supply Business Plan (RUPTL) comes at the direct instruction of President Prabowo Subianto, representing a dramatic leap from the country's current trajectory-which had previously targeted 69.5 GW of total capacity additions by 2034.
