Medan, July 3 -- Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) underscored the importance of stronger collaboration between the central government and regional administrations to develop resilient cities capable of meeting future development challenges.

"It is essential to strengthen synergy between the central and local governments in building resilient, modern and productive cities that can respond to future development challenges," Yudhoyono said after closing the 18th National Working Meeting of the Association of Indonesian Municipal Governments (APEKSI) in Medan, the capital of North Sumatra Province, on Thursday.
