Jakarta, Sept. 23 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Manpower said nearly 50 percent of the 2025 National Internship Programme graduates who interned across participating companies were able to secure jobs within three months of finishing the programme.

Speaking at the launch of the 2026 National Internship Programme Batch 2 in Jakarta on Wednesday, Director General of Vocational Training and Productivity at the ministry, Darmawansyah, stated around 30,000 of the 60,000 alumni who completed internships in 2025 have been employed.

According to Darmawansyah, the ministry is still tracking participants, including those who interned at government ministries and agencies before going on to work for them.
