Jakarta, March 3 -- The Ministry of Social Affairs has confirmed that 42,000 beneficiaries will remain in the government-subsidized national health insurance premium assistance (PBI JKN) scheme following a recent membership review.

The beneficiaries are part of the 11 million PBI JKN participants whose memberships were deactivated in February after the government updated its data using the National Socioeconomic Single Data (DTSEN).

Social Affairs Minister Saifullah Yusuf on Tuesday said 44,500 participants have since been reactivated.
