Jakarta, April 28 -- Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin said the ministry has prepared several referral hospitals to treat victims of the train collision in Bekasi, West Java, should they require further medical care.

Speaking in Jakarta on Tuesday, Budi expressed his sadness over the incident and hoped that all injured victims currently under treatment would recover.

"We are supporting them. If they need referrals - for injuries or trauma that require further treatment - we can refer them to the National Brain Center Hospital (PON) or Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM)," he said.

He added that many of the victims are currently being treated at hospitals managed by the Jakarta provincial government.
