Jakarta, March 31 -- Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Bima Arya Sugiarto ensured that the planned one-day-a-week work-from-home (WFH) arrangement for civil servants will not disrupt public services.
"The WFH arrangement must not disrupt public services, and we must ensure all civil servants work in accordance with the expected output," he said in Jakarta on Tuesday.
He explained that the WFH policy will be implemented selectively to ensure it does not interfere with public-facing services.
According to him, essential public service sectors, such as community health centers, hospitals, transportation departments, and public security and order agencies, must continue to operate normally and cannot fully adopt the approach.
