Jakarta, April 2 -- The Indonesian Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries ensured that the local community is involved in the construction and operations of the integrated shrimp farm in Waingapu, East Sumba, East Nusa Tenggara.

The national strategic project worth Rp7.2 trillion (approximately US$423 million) is estimated to be able to create thousands of jobs for the local residents and improve the welfare of coastal communities.
