Jakarta, Aug. 5 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Transmigration is deploying 1,476 young patriots to 53 transmigration areas across various regions to conduct research, assessments, and science- and technology-based mentoring.

Muhammad Qodari, Head of the Government Communication Agency (Bakom), in a video on Wednesday said the young patriots were recruited from 10 universities as part of an effort to accelerate the development of transmigration areas.

"The government, through the Ministry of Transmigration, has recruited and deployed 1,476 young patriots from the Patriot Expedition Team to 53 transmigration areas to carry out research, assessments, and science- and technology-based mentoring," Qodari explained.
