Jakarta, Sept. 23 -- The Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs has highlighted regional information transparency as a key factor to attract more investment, as it reflects business certainty and investor confidence.

Expert Staff for Regional Development at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, Haryo Limanseto, said investment-related information available in regions needs to be communicated clearly, consistently, and in an easily accessible manner to prospective investors.

"Investment is an important driver of economic growth. Ultimately, all investments flow into the regions and depend heavily on the readiness of the local ecosystem," he said in a statement received in Jakarta on Tuesday.
