Jakarta, July 27 -- The Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs is strengthening its strategic collaboration with the National Anti-Human Trafficking Network to optimize protection, rehabilitation, and empowerment efforts for victims of human trafficking.

Speaking at the national meeting of the organization in Jakarta on Monday, Social Affairs Minister Saifullah Yusuf stated that the involvement of various agencies-including civil society-is vital, as the government cannot combat human trafficking alone.

"The government needs participation from various stakeholders so that efforts to address human trafficking become more effective and comprehensive," he said.
