Jakarta, April 28 -- Presidential Chief of Staff (KSP) Dudung Abdurachman expressed condolences over a train collision that occurred in East Bekasi.

"I extend my condolences for the incident that took place last night in East Bekasi. We pray that the bereaved families are given strength and that those who lost their lives are granted a place by Allah SWT," Dudung said in an official statement issued in Jakarta on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Head of the Government Communications Office Muhammad Qodari confirmed that the government has given full attention to handling the tragedy.

He noted that President Prabowo Subianto personally visited the victims at Bekasi Regional Hospital on Tuesday morning.
