Jakarta, Aug. 28 -- Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa said the government will strengthen tax compliance and expand the tax base to achieve a state revenue target of Rp3,426 trillion in the 2027 State Budget Draft (RAPBN).

"State revenue in the 2027 RAPBN is projected to grow solidly to reach Rp3,426.0 trillion, or up 6.8 percent from the 2026 outlook, supported by stronger tax compliance and an expanded revenue base," Sadewa said on Thursday (August 27).

He made the statement at a working meeting of the Budget Committee (Banggar) of the House of Representatives (DPR).

He said increasing state revenue is part of the government's strategy to keep the 2027 RAPBN healthy, credible, and sustainable.
