Jakarta, March 27 -- Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto ensured that the government will soon announce a work-from-home (WFH) policy before the end of March.

"It will be announced (the WFH policy) before the end of the month (March)," Hartarto said here on Friday.

The policy was planned as a measure to curb fuel consumption amid pressure from global energy prices.

Earlier, he explained that the WFH scheme is planned to apply one day per week for state civil apparatus (ASN), including civil servants and government employees with work agreements (PPPK). Meanwhile, for the private sector, the policy will be in the form of advisories.
