Jakarta, May 29 -- The Higher Education, Science, and Technology Ministry has reaffirmed the government's commitment to strengthening collaboration on education and the development of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) globally, including with the United States (US).

Deputy Minister of the ministry, Stella Christie, in a statement in Jakarta on Friday, emphasized that the government's commitment is also manifested through the Garuda Schools program, which has increased the number of Indonesian students accepted into top universities worldwide, including in the US.
