Surabaya, East Java, April 7 -- Minister of Primary and Secondary Education Abdul Mu'ti ensured that the 2026 New Student Admission System (SPMB) prioritizes inclusive and equitable principles to expand access to education for all students across Indonesia.
"SPMB is a new student admission system, not a selection system. We strive to ensure all students have the opportunity to learn, not only in public schools but also in private schools," he said here on Tuesday.
He explained that the 2026 SPMB pathways include domicile, achievement, affirmation, and transfer, as in previous years, with adjustments to the academic achievement track.
