Jakarta, April 9 -- Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka said the government remains committed to maintaining stable subsidized fuel prices to ensure affordability for the public.
In a statement issued on Thursday, Gibran acknowledged proposals to raise fuel prices but said such measures do not align with directives from President Prabowo Subianto.
"This is not in line with the President's clear instruction to maintain stable subsidized fuel prices so they remain affordable, especially for lower-income communities," he said.
