Gov't confirms Bora Pulu plant generates Rp3.7 billion in annual PNBP
Sigi, Sept. 3 -- The Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Ministry confirmed that the Bora Pulu Geothermal Power Plant in Sigi, Central Sulawesi, is projected to generate Rp3.7 billion annually in regional revenue through non-tax state revenue (PNBP) and production bonuses.
"Going forward, this project will employ 175 local workers," said Pandu Ismutadi, an official of the ministry in Sigi on Thursday.
He noted that the development of clean energy in the region focuses not only on electricity supply but also on delivering direct economic benefits to the local area.
