Jakarta, July 3 -- Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs Nezar Patria outlined the government's efforts to maintain a healthy telecommunications industry to accelerate the expansion of 5G networks in Indonesia.

One of the measures, he said, is adjusting the investment burden on industry players in line with current market conditions.

"We are trying to create a healthy environment and ecosystem by introducing regulations that take into account the condition of the telecommunications industry. We are also working to reduce regulatory costs," Patria said in a statement confirmed here on Friday.
