Gorontalo engages communities, universities to preserve culture
Gorontalo, Aug. 18 -- The Gorontalo Province Cultural Preservation Office is engaging communities and universities in an effort to bring cultural preservation issues closer to the public through interactive dialogue.
Mochammad Andri WP, head of the office, stated in Gorontalo on Tuesday that involving communities and universities marks an initial step toward shifting the approach to cultural activities so they resonate more closely with the public.
"We are attempting to transform these activities by directly engaging various sectors to gain diverse perspectives and reach communities directly," Andri said.
