Gibran vows to improve MBG governance
Jakarta, June 18 -- Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka has reaffirmed the government's commitment to improving the governance of the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program and pledging to shield it from corruption and prevent fund misappropriation.
"We aim to ensure that every rupiah is properly spent and, most importantly free from corrupt practices," he told the press at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base, Jakarta on Thursday.
Speaking before departing for a five-province working visit, Gibran stressed the importance of corrective measures to strengthen the implementation of the national priority program.
