Jakarta, Oct. 29 -- Indonesian Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka hosted Ching-Chuen Chan at his official residence in Jakarta on Wednesday (Oct. 28) to discuss how the country can strengthen its position in electric vehicle (EV) supply chains.

Chan, an Indonesian-born Chinese electrical engineer and academic, is widely known as the "Father of Electric Vehicles in Asia."
