Jakarta, Aug. 19 -- Indonesia's Garuda Top School program enabled 388 students to gain admission to prestigious universities worldwide during the 2025/2026 academic year, the Government Communications Agency (Bakom) reported.

Addressing a press conference in Jakarta on Wednesday, Bakom Head M. Qodari noted that the figure is 177 percent higher than the 140 Garuda School graduates admitted to universities in the previous academic year.

He pointed out that the latest graduates had been accepted into various world-class universities overseas, including the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom, the University of New South Wales in Australia, and Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
