Jakarta, March 26 -- Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Brian Yuliarto emphasized that the Garuda Top High School program is not intended to create an exclusive form of education accessible only to certain groups.

"We stress and remind that a school's selection (as a Garuda School) does not mean it becomes exclusive, nor does it separate itself from the ecosystem of other senior high schools," Minister Yuliarto said at the launching and socialization of the 2026 Garuda Transformation School Selection here on Thursday.

The minister underlined that the Garuda Transformation schools are expected to serve as hubs and beacons that illuminate other high schools, thereby helping build a high-quality education ecosystem.
