Jakarta, May 19 -- Indonesia's state carrier Garuda Indonesia retained its position as the world's most punctual airline in April 2026 after recording a 97.9 percent on-time performance across 5,947 flights, according to OAG FlightView.

Deputy President Director Thomas Oentoro said on Tuesday the result reflected improving operational reliability as the airline pushed ahead with its broader performance transformation strategy.

The April ranking extended Garuda's lead after the carrier also posted a 97.9 percent on-time performance score in March, maintaining the top global position in OAG's monthly rankings.
